IUE ACADEMICIANS GOT LISREL TRAINING

LISREL Software Training Program organized by İzmir University of Economics Continuous Education Center (EKOSEM) brought many academicians in Turkey together at İzmir University of Economics.

TRAINING PROJECT GAVE HOPE

The project that was prepared by Balçova Municipality and İzmir University of Economics supported by İzmir Development Agency was started on July in the previous year and it is continuing with success. In the scope of the project, 100 young people got education over 100 hours. The students started with English, the prerequisite of the business life.

IELTS WILL BE CONDUCTED AGAIN AT IZMIR UNIVERSITY OF ECONOMICS

In 2010, İzmir University of Economics continues to host IELTS exam in İzmir, which is conducted by British Council and valid to determine the level of English in universities and institutions in the USA, Turkey, Australia, Canada, France, Germany and many other countries.

İzmir University of Economics Ladies Volleyball Team has defeated Anadolu University with a 3 – 0 (25 – 19, 28 – 26, 25 – 22) score in the game that is held at the weekend in Turkish Aroma 3rd League. IUE Ladies Volleyball has won all 15 games and broken a record.

“Cultural Bridges” painting made at İzmir University of Economics by Kids Guernica that makes giant paintings of peace all around the world is being exhibited in Florida Museum of Art. The giant painting that departed from İzmir University of Economics continues to give peace messages in the various exhibitions of the world.
